Today marks the beginning of a new collaboration! ✨

Beyond Inclusion Tanzania, NAD, SHIJUWAZA, and SHIVYAWATA came together to explore how we can join forces between the CADiR program and the Wezesha Mtoto initiative.

Our discussion focused on building real impact through:
🌍 Strengthening CBR/CBID models for inclusive communities
🗣️ Developing advocacy led by OPDs
📊 Joint baseline assessments for evidence-based action
📚 Advancing inclusive education in line with national strategies
🤝 Enhancing resource mobilization through collective action

This meeting was just the first step in building synergies between our organizations. Next, we’ll hold focused thematic meetings to shape joint actions that move disability rights and inclusion forward in Tanzania. 💪

Earlier this week: Zanzibar Takes the Lead on Disability Inclusion! ✨

From 22nd to 24th September 2025, NAD Zanzibar united partners, leaders, and advocates at ZAWA Hall for a powerful Reasonable Accommodation (RA) Workshop.

🔹 We unpacked accessibility, inclusion, and affirmative action.
🔹 Tackled sector challenges and opportunities — from education & health to transport, justice, and social development.
🔹 Shared practical solutions on legal frameworks, cost-sharing, and accountability.

This was more than a workshop — it was a movement to break barriers and secure equal opportunities for all persons with disabilities in Zanzibar! 💪🌍♿
