Sasik (ZANZIBAR) Sasik is the most successful women’s craft co-operative in Zanzibar, creating elaborate furnishing covers and wall hangings based on Arabic designs.

WHAT IS SASIK? They now decorate home and hotels in Africa and around the world. More importantly the work for the women of Sasik helps them to provide a better life for their families. OUR NAME
Many customers ask- What does Sasik mean? It is not Swahili or Arabic but an acronym based on the founders name Saada Abdullah Suleiman Industry Karibuni. In Swahili KARIBUNI means “You are all welcome” So Please feel free to look around.
