Yesterday night, we said goodbye to our volunteer from France, .malonga

We are truly happy and grateful for her time with us. She showed the true meaning of volunteering—embracing our lifestyle, adapting with humility, and becoming part of our community. She was deeply involved, caring, and showed genuine love for our children.

Thank you for everything you have done. We need more volunteers like you. It has been a beautiful experience for all of us.

He was accompanied by Madam Raudhat (Volunteer & Partnership Coordinator) and the PDS Media Team. It was a great day and also a learning opportunity for the PDS Madrasa leadership.

Healthy teeth are important for every child’s growth. Many children in Africa suffer from dental problems. When the children arrived at PDS Children’s Home, about 95% of them were already affected.

Today, we are treating them and also teaching them how to care for their teeth properly, especially the importance of brushing.

Our dentist, Dr. Khamis, visits the home every week to support the children.

We welcome individuals and organizations who would like to join us in improving the lives of these beautiful children. Together we can do more.

PDS Training Center for Job Creation has officially started! 🎉
Many students have already joined, and we are proud to create real impact, especially for young people in our community.
We are currently offering courses in Computer Applications, Graphic Design, English & French, Tailoring and Dressmaking, Cake Decoration, Henna Art, and Make-up.

Due to high demand, students are also requesting new programs such as Aluminium & Welding, Tour Guiding, and more. We welcome partners who are ready to collaborate with us to develop and implement additional skills programs.
Jobs Creation is our Priority. Together, we empower youth through skills and opportunity. 💪✨

Our Training Programs 2026 will officially start this Thursday, 12 February 🎓

A total of 235 students have registered to begin their journey in different professional programs:

✨ Business English Program (BEP) – 30 students.
💻 Business Computer Program (BCP) – 50 students.
🎤 Protocol and Event Management – 15 students.
🇫🇷 Business French Program (BFP) – 20 students.
🧵 Tailoring and Hand Craft Program (THP) – 54 students.
💄 Make Up Art Program (MAP) – 28 students.
🌿 Henna Art Program (HAP) – 15 students.
🎂 Cake Decoration Program (CDP) – 20 students.

As we say, 2026 is the Year of Implementation, turning plans into action and opportunities into real impact.

Mkurugenzi Mtendaji wa Taasisi ya PDS Zanzibar, Mr. Abdalla, ameshiriki mafunzo ya uandaaji wa report na uandishi wa proposal za miradi. Mafunzo haya yamempa fursa ya kukutana na wadau mbalimbali wa NGOs Zanzibar na kubadilishana mawazo.

Shukran kwa Jukwaa la Taasisi za Kiraia kwa maandalizi mazuri ya mafunzo, na shukran za kipekee kwa Mr. Mahfouz kwa kuendelea kusimamia na kuiunga mkono NGOs zetu kwa maendeleo ya Zanzibar.
