A truly heartwarming moment as our Executive Director was honored to serve as Guest of Honor at a special Iftar with orphans, organized by the Urafiki Scouts Group under the Tanzania Scouts Association

The day began with fun and energetic sports activities with the young scouts, filling the atmosphere with laughter and joy. It then transitioned into a shared Iftar, where children and their caregivers came together, strengthening bonds of love, care, and community. ❤️

This memorable gathering took place on 15th March 2026, reminding us that togetherness and compassion are at the heart of everything we do.

Thamini Jamii Organization (TJO) successfully distributed 140 Iftar packages to vulnerable families and orphans at Amani, Zanzibar ❤️

Through this act of giving, we aimed to share hope, compassion, and the true spirit of Ramadan with those in need. It is a powerful reminder that when we come together as a community, even small acts can create meaningful change and bring light into the lives of others.

Kind note: We were unable to capture photos/videos of everyone, as we fully respected their consent and privacy. What matters most is that the purpose and intention of this initiative were truly fulfilled.

This activity took place last Saturday, on a day of heavy rain in Zanzibar, yet our commitment to serve remained strong and unwavering.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our partner ._sarhan and the entire team whose dedication and generosity made this initiative possible and successful.

Together, we continue to uplift and support our communities.

Thamini Jamii Organization successfully organized a special Iftar gathering in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Welfare at the Amani Elderly Center in Zanzibar. The event was honored by the presence of our Guest of Honor, Madame Biubwa, Chairperson of the Zanzibar Women Chamber of Commerce.

Through this meaningful initiative, Thamini Jamii Organization distributed 80 Iftar packages to the elderly residents, as well as to all guests, caregivers, and staff members who joined the gathering.

Sharing Iftar together filled the hearts of the elders with love, and happiness. It reminded us that small acts of kindness and coming together as a community truly make Ramadan more meaningful.❤️

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the partners and friends of Thamini Jamii Organization whose generous support and collaboration made this act of kindness possible.

Thamini Jamii Organization successfully organized a special Iftar gathering in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Welfare at the Amani Elderly Center in Zanzibar. Amani Foundation, located in Maungani, Zanzibar, is an orphanage currently caring for 45 children from different backgrounds.

Small acts of kindness can bring hope and remind us of the power of community, compassion, and giving, especially during this blessed month of Ramadan.
