On Thurday, February 15th, Female Footprints had the great pleasure of meeting Mama Sadhya Karume, Founder and Chairperson of Zanzibar Youth Education Environment Development Support Association (ZAYEDESA). Our Lead Writer, the amazing children's book author Nahida Esmail and myself spent an hour discussing possible collaborations and we are excited that Mama Shadya Karume and ZAYEDESA support our mission to amplify the voices and stories of Zanzibars female change makers!

We look forward to continuing the discussions, and to shortly make some exciting announcements regarding our upcoming children's book. The children's book will be the first of its kind in Tanzania, and we can't wait to share it with the world!
