We have an Vocational Training Centre in Chukwani (next to the Baraza la Wawakilishi on Chukwani Road.) This Vocational Training Centre offers Zanzibaris the ability to study auto mechanics, computing, and English. We prepare our students to receive VETA certifications and follow the VETA curriculum. Our Centre also operates as a fully functional auto mechanics workshop, and we are currently open
to service your vehicles. All proceeds from vehicle servicing are put back into the project with an aim at self sustainability. Please come in today for high quality vehicle repair at reasonable prices! Pamoja Zanzibar was registered in Zanzibar in July of 2008 and consists of a locally governed board of directors including our chairman, Yussuf Suleiman Khalfan. Our Vision:
Excellence in education for the Glory of God
Our Objectives:
- To provide our students with vocational training courses that are designed to enhance their skill set and provide opportunities to benefit the society of Zanzibar as a whole.
- To foster an environment where all are lifelong learners.
- To practice a holistic philosophy of education that recognizes skills alone do not make successful men and women but also faith, character, and personal empowerment.
- To exercise management and decision making by valuing diverse cultural perspectives.
- Commitment to quality, accessible education while maintaining high standards.
- Continual development, improvement, and flexibility in educational programming that is responsive to the needs of our students, staff, and Zanzibar.
- To respect all people regardless of nationality, culture, gender, religion, age, or educational background.
