THE ROAD TO WORLD CLEANUP DAY 2026 STARTS HERE!

This Saturday, we’re coming together at Jangwani Beach for a community beach cleanup as we prepare for World Cleanup Day 2026.

With the endorsement of , and in collaboration with and .We’re creating a space where everyone has a role to play whether you’re a volunteer, organization, brand, community leader, or simply someone who cares about our ocean.

This is more than picking up waste.
It’s about building a cleaner coastline, inspiring action, connecting people, and showing what we can achieve when we work together.

Together with , proudly led the Global Big Weight initiative in Tanzania, demonstrating the impact of collective action for healthier coastlines.

The cleanup brought together 23 dedicated volunteers, who successfully removed 391 kg of marine litter from our coastline. Every kilogram collected represents cleaner oceans, safer marine ecosystems, and a stronger commitment to environmental stewardship.

This achievement would not have been possible without the invaluable support of , .organisationtanzania, , and . Your partnership and commitment played a vital role in making this initiative a success.

Today, we mourn the loss of a visionary leader, Co-Founder , and a pillar of Our Community.

Justine Kiulamagulu was more than a name at Sustainable World Initiatives and MBRC The Ocean.
He was a force behind purpose, sustainability, and impact. His dedication to building a better future for our oceans and communities will never be forgotten.

Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in every life he touched and every initiative he helped build.

Rest in peace, Justine.
