Embrace Tanzania

Embrace Tanzania Embrace Tanzania is a gap year organisation based in Zanzibar ,Tanzania Mahatma Ghandi once said "Be the change you wish to see in the world."

Embrace Tanzania was established under two very simple premises; first and foremost to support and assist East African communities in need of the basic services we in the First World so readily take for granted, and two, to provide placements for people in search of ethically minded volunteer projects within this truly wondrous part of the world. Embrace was initially set up in 2010 by a group o

f fellow travellers that after volunteering and working throughout Tanzania and East Africa had come together under one common cause. The desire to build an organisation that gave back to the great people of Africa whilst developing volunteer projects that could sustain jobs for East Africans, and provide them with the tools to further their own desires and dreams. With Embrace there is no hidden agenda, we are not interested in making money, we are interested in making a difference. This whole organisation was started off the back of one man's savings, without his generous input we would not have made it this far. All our staff outside of Tanzania work more than one job as this is and forever will be a Non-For-Profit. Here at Embrace we have faith in what we are capable of, we have faith in what our volunteers are capable of and most importantly of all we have faith in what we are going to achieve together. To him I say, we are trying Sir.
