Humanitarian Association AFRICANA is created for children. We are assisting vulnerable children directly and through their families and communities. We currently implement physical rehabilitation, child protection and poverty alleviation projects in Tanzania, East Africa. The main principles behind AFRICANA projects implementation are: partnerships and local community ownership and leadership. We
listen to local communities and support their ideas. We work together, local community as a leader, AFRICANA as a facilitator. We provide that little support that allows people to take off and become self sufficient and proud of their achievements. Every child is precious and deserves happy, constructive, playful and free childhood. We can't let difficult circumstances to disrupt it. We must assist the children to overcome challenges and grow up into creative, skilled and confident people who will, one day, do the same for some other children, in their own way. We believe that children are already making this world better, and we feel proud to be part of their world, as ours can sometimes be somehow grim.
