Communities Assist Australia-Developmental Aid Project We are a volunteer only NGO with the goal to create a sustainable future for communities in need. We Please, join us and assist us with our work.

Communities Assist aims to assist Kilimanjaro Permaculture Community complete 3 successive projects at the Rainbow Ridge incorporating homes, a teaching facility focussing on sustainability and lifestyle skills and to develop landscaped areas farmed using permaculture principles. The three main objectives of the Kili Kids site at Rainbow Ridge are:

1) That the site operates sustainably, supplying

its own shelter, water, energy and food.

2) That the site operates as a demonstration site for successful practices in sustainablity.

3) That the site operates as a teaching location in sustainable design/practices and lifestyle skills particularly in the areas of permaculture, English and entrepreneurial opportunities for the community. This means implementing systems through cooperation that suit their social, environmental and economic conditions. Systems that they can afford to introduce and maintain long term. Systems that will improve their productivity, economies and welfare. Your time, money, skills or connections are invaluable to us.
