MMA's vision is to enable a sustainable improvement in the health of all people in vulnerable communities. A key strategic objective is to ensure access to healthcare for all, especially those in remote regions. MMA's work targets marginalised populations such as people with disability, children, women and those with Leprosy and other diseases of poverty, such as typhoid and malaria. In recent yea
rs, MMA has provided hundreds of scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds to train as doctors, nurses, dentists, pharmacists and audiologists. Crucial medication, medical equipment and supplies have been made available to struggling remote hospitals to improve patient care. MMA has also partnered with local organisations in preventative health initiatives, significantly impacting the lives of many.
