Endless smiles and safety is what we all want to feel when we awake each beautiful day; but instead, we end up sad, scared and hungry. When lucky we find scraps and remains of food to feed ourselves or boxes and rugs to sleep on. Perfect home and life is not what everyone has, but hope of having one is what keeps some of us going. A sad thing in life is to wish for that magical place where you are
happy, safe and sometimes call it home; only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go. Being homeless, living in the streets, having hunger as a companion, getting sick with no help, dying helplessly is never any ones wish, but unlucky circumstances tie us there. The streets kills children, the streets destroy children, the streets is no place for children...
Here is when Mkombozi Tailors Project comes in, and we help as much as we can, "Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and feed him for a life time." we give these children an opportunity to learn and participate in doing things that makes them see the bright side of life.
