International Day of the Girl Child 2025.
"As stakeholders in education and advocates for girls' rights in Tanzania, as we mark the commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child, we urge the creation of enabling environments that support the re-entry of adolescent mothers into schools. We call for the strengthening of the Re-Entry Guidelines and harmonization of laws, particularly the Education Regulation Act (2002), to align with re-entry directives. Furthermore, we urge the government to enact a specific law to operationalize these guidelines, ensuring that every girl child has access to education and a bright future.
