During our GLF watch party, we had an inspiring discussion on the vital role maize plays in building climate resilience and supporting agroforestry practices. 🌽

Farmers are not only using maize as a staple crop but are integrating it into diverse farming systems that promote environmental sustainability. By combining maize with trees in agroforestry systems, they’re improving soil health, increasing water retention, and creating more resilient farming landscapes. 🌳💧

🌾 Maize + Trees = Climate Resilience. This powerful combination helps farmers adapt to unpredictable weather patterns and strengthens their livelihoods in the face of climate change.

💬 What’s your take on maize as a climate-resilient crop? How do you think agroforestry can shape the future of farming?
