We are extremely proud of the Smokeless Kitchens team and the 3 representatives who went to Dilijan, Armenia, for a very competitive final stage of the Young Aurora Forum, and WON the competition!
Smokeless Kitchens is a project that plans to reduce the instances of respiratory diseases among Chagga and Maasai households by sustainably sourcing and helping with the installation of smokeless stoves in their kitchens. Well done everyone!!

This month, the Smokeless Kitchens team will be travelling to Armenia for the Aurora Forum to present their project on reducing the overwhelming effects of smoke experienced in the kitchens of indigenous communities of the chagga and maasai tribes. We are so grateful to the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative for supporting our students throughout their project and for giving them the chance to win $4500 towards its further development. In the spirit of , the students have joined the global fundraising movement to further the Initiative’s efforts to support those in urgent humanitarian need around the world and those, like our students, who want to help them.
