Please pray for the Lord to call someone to lead our non-denominational English-speaking church here in Moshi, Tanzania. Whether it is short-term (4-12 weeks) or long-term, we are in need of pulpit supply at a minimum when we are on furlough, but ideally, someone who will come alongside us as we transition out. The church is 15 years old, comprising international English speakers who live/work in the local area. It has much growth potential but needs full-time leadership. Perfect for a retired pastor who doesn’t want the stress of running a big church, or a young couple who want to gain the experience and grow. Contact us for more info.

We recently had visitors from a supporting church in the US who came to participate in teaching in the Bible college in Kenya, and then visited Tanzania. They encouraged us so much! Would you like to come?

Ventured out to a remote village today to do a church seminar. The rainy season made the roads tricky to travel, often yielding to herds of cows/donkeys to pass first on the narrow patches of dry land before we could continue. Once we arrived, we were treated to uplifting praise by the youth worship team and a hot meal after Pastors Jim and Edward delivered an encouraging message: “Never Give Up!” Meeting local believers one on one reminds us why God has us here. Is He calling you?!

A great day at our Mt Meru campus with another diploma class of pastors graduating! We had a lot of fun.

Pastor Jim and Janice Larson are currently training pastors in a majority Muslim country that is protesting US involvement against Iran. Pray for their safety as they finish training on Friday and attempt to depart the country on Saturday, returning to field work in Tanzania.

Praise the Lord! No matter our denomination or nationality, great things happen when the body of Christ worships together! Pray for us this week as we begin to train national pastors how to study and preach the Word expositionally.

Blessed to attend a church service with our brothers and sisters in Christ in a majority Muslim country. We will be spending the week training pastors in inductive Bible study and surveying the opportunity to begin a Bible college work here. Pray for peace in this land and the airspace to open up so we can return to Tanzania at the end of the week.

Just finished an IBS seminar with over 200 participants! Very hospitable church, and so many commented about how much they learned. God is working through this Bible study method around the world. Contact us if you would like a seminar at your church.
