Enriching Skills and Action research Tanzania (ESAT) is an acronym for Enriching Peoples` Lives through action research, improving their skills (awareness) and advocacy. ESAT is a non-profit company limited by guarantee and not having shareholder registered under Company Act, 2002 on 25th June 2014. ESAT believes in the concept of better solutions coming from the community which might need an infi

nitesimal adjustment and sufficient support to fit in. A 360-degree perspective enables to deliver thoughtful, evidenceโ€“based and tailored responses. It embraces and stimulates innovation, also allows for stronger programs with lasting impact. ESATโ€™s activities are research based, participatory and community led, gender sensitive, sustainable and scalable. OBJECTIVE

Today, ESAT successfully facilitated a Validation Workshop with key stakeholders to review the Business Plan, Financial Model, and operational frameworks for the Maputi Cashew Processing Facility, under the Apex Agribusiness Academy / Stichting BoP Innovation Center initiative.

The session brought together representatives from ANSAF Board and Secretariat, Cashew Board of Tanzania, Small Industries Development Organization Mtwara, Akros Company Limited, Kitama Facility, UVIWAKONE leadership, Tandahimba Farmer Organization, and Newala District Council.

The discussions provided valuable insights to refine the final outputs and strengthen the pathway towards operationalizing sustainable, farmer-centered processing models.
