This is why in 2017 Simbas began shifting its leadership back to our local team. Now, idea’s for expansion, programming and solutions come f

Simbas believe every child deserves access to quality education and the digital skills needed for the future. Through our partnership with STAWI and ACCT, we are proud to continue supporting the establishment and strengthening of computer labs in public schools across Moshi.

Last week we participated in conducting a training helping teachers gain ICT knowledge and practical skills at an important time, especially as the Tanzanian education curriculum continues to integrate ICT into learning. Seeing schools embrace technology and students gain access to computer education is both exciting and impactful for our community.

We are deeply grateful to STAWI for providing resources and support toward improving technology access in schools, and to ACCT for helping with installation and training implementation. It was also incredible to witness a new computer lab launched at Mwenge Primary school this week.
Simbas remain committed to working hand in hand with schools, government stakeholders, and partners to strengthen education and create lasting impact.

For many years, Simbas Footprints Foundation has proudly partnered with BCC - Moshi to ensure that children and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities have access to inclusive after-school programs at our center.

Through this partnership, BCC and Simbas work together to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where every child has the opportunity to participate, learn, play, and build meaningful connections. Each week, these amazing children and youth join our activities and continue to remind us of the importance of inclusion, community, and equal opportunities for all. ❤️

This video shares more about the impact of this collaboration and the joy these programs bring to the lives of the participants.

This past weekend , the Simbas Footprints Foundation organization was proud to participate in a 5KM Fun Walk organized by the Bakers Association in Moshi to support children with cancer at KCMC Hospital.

It was inspiring to see the community come together for such an important cause. We applaud the Bakers Association for prioritizing children’s health and wellbeing and for using their platform to create awareness and support for families affected by cancer.

Together, we can build a more caring and supportive community for every child. 💛
Thank you

The digital literacy program has become a transformative part of our education initiatives across partner public schools in Kilimanjaro. Many students we work with had never touched a computer before. Today, they are learning essential digital skills that are preparing them for the modern world.

This video shares the voices behind the impact — students, teachers, and our team — highlighting how access to technology is improving learning experiences, building confidence, and creating new possibilities for young people.

From school computer labs to our community learning hub, we believe every child deserves access to digital education regardless of their background.

📍7+ partner schools reached
📍Thousands of students introduced to digital learning
📍Creating opportunities through locally led solutions

The future is digital, and we are making sure our community is not left behind.

At Simbas Footprints Foundation, our Arts & Crafts program is more than just fun—it’s a space where children explore creativity, build confidence, and develop practical skills that are often missing in traditional school curricula.

Many children in our community have limited access to creative learning opportunities. Through arts and crafts, they strengthen problem-solving skills, imagination, fine motor skills, and self-expression—all essential for their overall development.

📊 Studies show that children engaged in arts education are:
• 4x more likely to be recognized for academic achievement
• More confident in expressing ideas and emotions
• Better at critical thinking and collaboration

And this is just one part of what we do.

At Simbas community center, we provide FREE access to:
• Arts & Crafts 🎨
• Music 🎶
• Sports ⚽
• Dance 💃
• Computer Skills 💻
• Library & Reading 📚

We are creating a safe, inspiring environment where every child has the opportunity to discover their potential and dream bigger.

Since 2021, Simbas Footprints Foundation, in collaboration with the Kilimanjaro community, friends and organizations, has proudly hosted the 5th Morgan Cup a space where youth from across the region come together to play, connect, and grow.

The Morgan Cup is more than a tournament.
It is a tribute to Morgan, a local hero whose life and work left a lasting impact on children and young people in Tanzania. His commitment to community development, opportunity, and hope continues to inspire everything we do. For us, Morgan is not just remembered, he is celebrated through action.
Each year, we honor his legacy by creating platforms where young people can unleash their potential, build confidence, and strive for excellence both on and off the field.

His spirit lives on in every goal scored, every lesson shared, and every young person who dares to dream bigger.

Rest in peace, Morgan. Your legacy continues.
