Today marked a key milestone in Siha District as our group officially received beehives to advance our community beekeeping project from Ngarony to Karansi.

What makes this moment significant is not just the handover, but the readiness behind it. The beehives already host active, well-managed bee colonies, carefully nurtured under the supervision of Mwalimu Barakaeli. This allows us to move directly into the implementation phase with strong technical footing.

The response from parents and caregivers of students at Tumaini Centre was highly encouraging. Their engagement reflects a growing sense of ownership and commitment to ensuring the project’s success not only as an income generating activity, but also as a practical learning opportunity for families. The project will be managed at Tumaini Centre to ensure close monitoring, structured management, and long term sustainability. Community Bridges Foundation

Today we delivered school supplies to our beneficiaries at St. Fransis Primary School in Hai District.

A particularly meaningful moment was supporting 25 students with disabilities (12 with albinism, 4 with physical disabilities, 6 who are blind, and 3 who are deaf). Watching them receive their uniforms and immediately put them on was a powerful reminder of how this support can create a strong sense of belonging.

Many students at St. Fransis live in the school’s boarding facility because they have nowhere else to go. The school also serves as a safe space for students with albinism due to the history of killings targeting people with albinism in the country, as well as for children who have been abandoned or rescued!. Since 2021, our support has focused on essential needs such as food, stationery, and clothing to help ensure these students can continue their education with dignity.

Access to basic school necessities remains a challenge for many children with disabilities, and moments like this reinforce the importance of continued community support. Community Bridges Foundation

This week, we supported 15 students at Tumaini Centre for Disabled Students, including children with autism, Down syndrome, developmental, and physical disabilities. They received uniforms and stationery to help them fully participate in class. With the school’s guidance, we purchased and delivered 120 kg of maize, 120 kg of beans, 75 kg of rice, 25 kg of sugar, and 20 liters of cooking oil, ensuring daily porridge and lunch.

The handover was warmly received by Principal Mr. Mollel, Evangelist Madam Sara, teachers, and parent representatives. Families expressed heartfelt gratitude for this vital support.

This is how we are kicking off 2026. This week, we successfully completed an intensive beneficiary selection process and confirmed support for 30 students with disabilities: 15 from Sanya Primary School (a specialized class for children with autism and Down syndrome) and 15 from Tumaini Learning Centre (children with developmental disabilities). These students will receive new school uniforms, essential stationery, and food support to ensure they can have lunch while at school.

For these children, this support means dignity, consistency, and the ability to stay in school. A uniform allows them to attend class with confidence and a sense of belonging. Stationery gives them the tools to participate and learn. Food support ensures they can focus, engage, and learn alongside their peers, rather than sitting through lessons hungry. Together, these essentials remove daily barriers that too often push children with disabilities out of education.

5 days to go! Some children are still crawling on the ground. Some are carried on their mothers’ backs every day. Not because their parents don’t care but because a wheelchair is simply out of reach.

We are racing against time to change that. Our year-end match campaign ends Dec 31, and we are not even halfway to our goal. $150 can give one child freedom, dignity, and a chance to move independently. You still have a chance to gift one of these children! Use this link https://tambuautu.or.tz/match-campaign-2025/ Untill all have access.
