On this World Wildlife Day, we celebrate the theme "Medicinal and Aromatic Plants: Conserving Health, Heritage and Livelihoods." 🌿✨
From the towering giants of the savanna to the hidden guardians of the forest floor, every species plays a vital role in maintaining the delicate balance of our planet.

Our work to protect wildlife is also a mission to safeguard the natural ecosystems that provide us with medicine, clean air, and a healthy future.

Wildlife conservation is human conservation. Today, we honor the flora and fauna that sustain our world.

Support our mission to keep the wild alive 🐾🌱

Today we celebrate World Pangolin Day 2026 under the theme “Pangolin Guardians in Action.”

Across Tanzania, our research shows that pangolins face pressure from illegal trade, habitat loss, and cross-border trafficking. Yet we have also seen strong willingness from communities, conservation practitioners, and institutions to protect them.
From village lands to wildlife corridors, pangolin survival depends on collective action.

We proudly present Hillary Mrosso , a distinguished conservationist and nominee for Best Conservation Influencer in Tanzania, selected by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism to compete in the national conservation awards.

As Co-founder of the Tanzania Research and Conservation Organization (TRCO), Hillary has made exceptional contributions to wildlife research and conservation, with a strong focus on endangered species including pangolins and elephants. His scientific work spans from his early academic career to the present. While a student at Sokoine University of Agriculture, Hillary published important research addressing poaching and illegal wildlife trade in the Ruaha Landscape, Tanzania, laying a strong foundation for evidence-based conservation.

He later went on to co-author landmark scientific publications—most notably the first-ever studies from Tanzania documenting illegal pangolin trade and local ecological knowledge in pangolin conservation within the Ruaha Landscape.
