Today mark One (1) year since we launched Our Clean water project by only delivered 10 rainwater harvest system project. As of today, we deployed a total of 270 small units of rainwater harvest systems which set to impact more than 8,000 people.

We firstly begin by using AI and Satelite imagery to prioritise those who needs our project to the most, which successfully helped to bring high demand of the project to our communities members we are saving!

Our project aim to empower local communities specifically women and girls and those in rural areas to harvest rainwater at their home and make clean and safe water accessible and stop them from walking long distance to go and fetch water.

Our project use the live GPS location as one of evidence to show our donors and supporters where our small unit project are placed to ensure transperance and accountability of every single dollar we received.

Proud and thanks to our amazing Donors and collaborators, Maji Wells Vijana Assembly team for making all these possible.

We are excited to reach project 231 today for our Rainwater harvest project in Monduli district since we start in 2024.

Through the leadership of our Director Mbayani Tayai we deploy and install the entire systems that assist household to harvest rainwater at their home. After that, we name the tanks and documents by tracking tje GPS location to ensure transperance.

Those smiles after we deploy and install their tanks speak more! The System will reduce hours she use to collect water away from home!

Thanks to all of team at Vijana Assembly and Maji Wells and our amazing donors for making all these a reality!

Our Project number 64!

In our current Project of delivering 100 tanks to Household members (Maboma) in Monduli villages, we learned a best way to show the exactly location of where we placed our tanks.

Our team is in ongoing hardwork of installation processes to our tanks to empower our local community members to harvest rain water and ensuring access to clean water right to their doorstep.

We believe, we can solve the current water crisis by using this technique for people have the ability and technology to harvest rain water at their home.

We build this tank in December 2022 and Officially launched on 27 January 2023. we can't imagine that it is the only source of water for about 2,500 people in this village.

We supported by building rain harvest tank in Nanja to assist people to use to access water.

They finished the rain harvested water and now the watwr tanker truck bring water and put in the tank for community members to use it.

I always believe that, the water crisis in our villages is solvable and access to clean water is not a luxury things but is the basic human rights.

Hali ya Chakula katika Vijiji vyetu mwaka huu ni Changamoto kubwa sana. Kutokana na athari za Mabadiliko ya hali ya Nchi, iliyo sababisha ongezeko kubwa la joto na Upungufu Mkubwa wa mvua, inaleta tishio kubwa la Baa la Njaa kwa Wananchi.

Katika Wilaya ya Monduli, zaidi ya wakaazi 100,000 hawato weza kuvuna zao la Mahindi katika Mashamba yao kutokana na kukumbwa na Ukame pamoja na zao hili kushambuliwa na Wadudu shambani.

Mawazo yangu yote ni kwa watoto wadogo, Wanafunzi wa mashuleni pamoja na kina Mama na Wazee hasa waishio Vijiji na wale ambao tegemeo Lao kuu la kupata Chakula ipo kwenye mashamba yao.

Ni wakati sahihi sasa, kutafuta na kubuni namna sahihi na thabiti ya kusaidia wakulima hasa kwenye mbolea bora, viuatilifu pamoja na kusaidia kwenye swala la kuteka maji ya mvua ili iweze kuwasaidia kumwagilia pindi mvua itakapo katika.

In the beginning of this March, we were excited to host a village fundraising event that aimed to raise funds to build a nursery class at Enkiloriti sub village of Losimingori area.

Some of the kids who reside near to our Community Centre, had been using one of the building as their classroom. We are happy that the mission is expanding by creating a new school for these kids.

The total of Tzs 11,000,000 was raised and Construction is expected to start as soon as possible.

Our Community Centre was established to help facilitate development and organize villagers in Losimingori village and surrounding areas to come together and focus on issues that will empower them.
