ENCOR Is a Non-for-Profit organization established in 2020 to empower women and girls in southern Tanzania to achieve sustainable and equitable access to education, employment and economic empowerment. ENCOR aims
• To empower women by supporting economic activities and innovative entrepreneurship,
• To reduce poverty and improve living standards of pastoralist families, in particular through improvements in cattle management and through the establishment of a Dairy Co-operative and Milk Processing Plant.
• To improve the educational access of girls, and improvement of their learning environment, including running a Girls Hostel. Not-For-Profit organizations depend on donors as a source of funds to run their projects. And nowadays there is even stronger competition between Organizations to gain resources in order to maintain ongoing activities. In most cases the survival of the Organization depends upon how well established it has become, how stable are its sources of funds, and, sometimes, whether there are other ways it can create its own income. To date ENCOR Organization has obtained most of its contributions from several Australian private donors, who are wanting the Organization to press ahead with improvements and changes in line with its stated Objectives.
