Ngozera Youth Centre

Ngozera Youth Centre NGO establised to provide formal education and community based activites to children, youths and families giving more opportunity to change their future.

Located in Matuli village some 130 km from Dar es Salaam in the Morongoro direction, NYC is the owner of a 6 acre farmland plot where all the activities will be provided. The land will be utilised to its full capacity to include growing vegetables, raising livestock, a sideline of cultivating mushrooms and all schooling and activities willl be based here. Future expansion will included other organ

ised programmes such as sports, art/craft, music and of course hands on training in farming and agriculture. Good progress has been made but there are now many areas in need of finance. The roof of the main classroom building needs completion along with the toilet and much clearing of land. For the future a borehole for water, solar power and a full medical centre are all also planned.
