Kijungumoto Project, 2Seeds Network A project within the 2Seeds Network focusing on human capital development to address food and income insecurity. www.2seeds.org/kijungumoto

Kijungumoto, Tanzania is a small village along the main road from Korogwe to Maramba, about a kilometer before the larger town of Mashewa. It is named after the regional legend of a cooking pot that heats water on its own (stoked by a witch doctor's magical fire.) The Kijungumoto Project Coordinators hope to emulate that witch doctor's fire, acting as a catalyst for Kijungumoto's self-perpetuating

, sustainable changes. We're looking forward to cooking up our project this August! Ana Le Rocha, a Regional Project Coordinator for 2Seeds in Tanzania, has told us that Kijungumoto "is a beautiful area with very good people."
