I See I Capture I Write Collective voice of young advocates whose mission is to train youth and children's rights through various forms of creative art.

Vision:
To unite passionate, trained youth advocates who are committed to being a voice for their community through the creative arts, focused primarily on raising awareness for children's/youth rights while also preserving the dignity of community members. Mission:

Katika siku chache zijazo, Vijana wa iii watatayarisha wimbo wao unaohusu Uviko-19, ili kueleza na kushirikisha kile ambacho wamekuwa wakijifunza katika programu yetu kwa miezi michache iliyopita.

Kwa hiyo leo tulilazimika kuleta studio ya muziki katika Shule ya Sekondari Kishengweni ili kuanza kipindi chetu cha kwanza cha utayarishaji wa muziki.

Ilikuwa ni furaha sana na hatuwezi kusubiri kusikia vijana hawa watakuja na nini.

In the next few days, The iii youths are going to produce their own song about Covid-19, to express and share what they have been learning in our program for the past few months.

So today we had to bring a music studio in Kishengweni Secondary School in order to start our first session in music production.

It was so much fun and we can't wait to hear what these youths will come up with.

In this photo youths were teaching others, everyone older than 2 years of age should wear a mask that fits them well.

Masks should be worn over an individual's nose and mouth so that they can be the most protected.

Wear a mask when in crowded situations.

Clean surfaces more frequently when someone in your home is sick.

Cover Your Mouth and Nose When Coughing or Sneezing:
In our weekly meetings, youths have been practice different methods of preventing them from getting Covid-19.

In this photo, one of the youths were showing others how to cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.

You can cough or sneeze while wearing your mask. (Change your mask regularly)

If you are not wearing a mask, cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or the inside of your elbow. (Throw the tissue into the trash after use)

Remember to wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer after coughing and/or sneezing.

Osha kwa sabuni na maji kwa angalau sekunde 20. Hakikisha unasugua pande zote za mikono yako (katikati ya vidole, nyuma ya mikono, n.k.)

Kumbuka kunawa mikono kabla ya kuandaa au kula chakula, kabla ya kugusa uso wako, baada ya kutoka chooni, baada ya kuwa kwenye maeneo ya wazi yenye alaiki ya watu, baada ya kukohoa, kupuliza pua yako, au kupiga chafya na baada ya kuwa karibu na mtu mgonjwa.

Kisafishaji cha mikono ambacho kina angalau 60% ya pombe kinaweza kuwa mbadala mzuri wa kunawa mikono wakati hakuna sabuni na maji.

Wash Your Hands:
In our weekly meetings, youths have been practice different methods of preventing them from getting Covid-19.

In this photo, one of the youths were showing others how and when to wash our hands.

Wash with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Make sure to scrub all sides of your hands (in between fingers, back of hands, etc.)

Remember to wash your hands before preparing or eating food, before touching your face, after using the restroom, after going out in public, after coughing, blowing your nose, or sneezing and after being around for someone who is sick.

Hands sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol can be a good substitute for hand washing when soap and water are not available.

It is best practice to wash your hands whenever soap and water next become available, even if you use hand sanitizer.

This has been helping them when they are at home caring for a sick person, in schools, when attending faith institutions and other public areas.

As we are wrapping up stage two of our program, expect some educational materials and graphics designs about Covid-19 from the youth we work with.

Now, we are getting ready for the third stage of this program, Music production, recording and publishing sessions. In this stage, we let students produce a song about Covid-19, record it, publish it on social media platforms and perform it to their fellow students and other community members.

We wrapped up stage one (advocacy training) by having a zoom call with our partners from Duke University of North Carolina.

This zoom call was set to share experiences, Q&A about Covid-19, discussions on how to create graphics designs and materials that will help other people to understand more about the virus.

This past few weeks we had an advocacy training that was conducted by youth from Kishengweni Secondary School. They had a chance to discuss and talk about their experiences in Covid-19 and different ways that will help community from getting the virus.

These youth decided to work on creating learning materials that will be useful for in person and online trainings.
