The win reflects growing recognition of solutions that address real financial access challenges faced by young people. As student populations across the continent continue to struggle with limited access to credit and financial tools, El-dizer’s model is gaining attention for offering a practical and scalable approach to inclusion.

For El-dizer, the recognition goes beyond a trophy. It signals strong validation of a model built around students and early career professionals who are often overlooked by traditional financial institutions. “We did it,” said CEO and Co-Founder Elibariki David Laizer. “This achievement is not just ours, it belongs to everyone who has believed in and supported our mission.”

The company also acknowledged the role of key partners including NMB Bank Plc, United Nations Capital Development Fund, UNDP, Funguo Tanzania, Deloitte and Anza Entrepreneurs, noting that their support has helped shape its growth journey.

Last week was a powerful milestone for El-dizer Financial Service.

As part of our commitment to supporting internship students and strengthening financial inclusion, our team engaged directly with students during their congregation under Chama cha Wauguzi – TNIMC.

We took the opportunity to provide financial literacy education, introduce our Intern Loan Program, and share how El-dizer is dedicated to serving students during their most challenging periods — from allowances delays to essential living expenses.

Through our collaboration with our partner bank, students were also able to open over 50+ bank accounts on the spot, giving them immediate access to our micro-loan services and enabling a smooth start to their internship journey.

We remain committed to empowering more young professionals across Tanzania with the financial tools they need to succeed.
