Strengthening Community Support Groups for Sustained Access to HIV, SRHR and GBV Services among Adolescents and Young People in Kasulu DC, Kasulu TC and Uvinza DC-Kigoma Region
At the end of December 2025, NACOPHA, in collaboration with NYP+ and with support from UNAIDS, conducted an orientation for Adolescents and Young People (AYP) across three Councils of Kasulu TC, Kasulu DC, and Uvinza DC. The orientation aimed to equip AYP data collectors with ethical, effective, and high-quality approaches for community-led monitoring (CLM) and project implementation. As part of the exercise, participants also received working tools that includes tablets to enhance efficient, timely, and reliable data collection within their communities. This initiative strengthens community support structures and promotes sustained access to HIV, SRHR, and GBV services for Adolescents and Young People in Kigoma Region.
