Mangrove Day Update – WAP Participation

Yesterday, as the world marks International Mangrove Day, WAP had the honor of being invited by TFS to take part in a mangrove planting exercise. Together, we planted 5,000 mangrove seedlings in the Kilonga Wima area of Mbezi Beach.

The event was graced by the District Commissioner Honorable Saad Mtambule - DC Kinondoni, along with various representatives from the government and environmental stakeholders. It was a meaningful step in our ongoing efforts to restore and protect our coastal ecosystems.

We are proud to be part of this crucial initiative and remain committed to environmental conservation for a sustainable future.
