Today we have successfully concluded five days of commemorating the Social Welfare Services Week, together with some of the caregivers and owners of children’s homes across Tanzania. These are just a few among the 385 caregivers and home owners nationwide.

Earlier today, at the KKKT Church Hall in Kimara, Dar es Salaam, the leadership and members of the Association of Children’s Home Owners in Dar es Salaam Region (UWAMADA) gathered to review preparations for the upcoming National Social Welfare Services Week 2025.

The event will be held in Dar es Salaam from August 25th to 30th, 2025, with the Vice President, H.E. Dr. Philip Mpango, expected as the Guest of Honor.

Leo hii nina furaha kuona watoto wakicheza, wakibuni, na kufurahi pamoja. Hata kamba wanayotumia wameitengeneza wenyewe k**a sehemu ya kujifunza stadi za maisha ✨. Huu ubunifu wao unanifurahisha sana.

Yesterday we were happy to join the memorial of the founder of (Ali Hassan Mwinyi Secondary School – Mbweni Campus). This is a yearly tradition to remember their beloved founder who passed away five years ago.

Our children shared a meal with Ahmes students and teachers, then enjoyed games including football, which ended 3–1 against Mwandaliwa. We finished the day with dancing, where our youth showed their great energy and joy.

Thank you Ahmes Schools for the warm invitation—love always returns to love! ❤️

📚✨ Education Shines Bright – Mwandaliwa Nursery School, Mbweni 🏫💛

Today, our little learners enjoyed a wonderful lesson led by our dedicated volunteer teachers, Mr. Daniel and Ms. Lucia, who shared:

> “We strive to be close to the children to ensure they understand, grow in knowledge, and become more creative. We are happy to be here and to take part in this noble role of teaching.” ❤️

We warmly welcome more volunteer teachers, education stakeholders, and friends with a heart to support, to join hands with us in continuing these efforts.

We currently need support with the following items:

2️⃣ Playground and learning play materials 🎲⚽🎨
3️⃣ A classroom writing board 🖊️
