We had the opportunity to participate in an advocacy workshop on the Voluntary National Review (VNR) Report, which brought together different stakeholders and NGOs to discuss various advocacy approaches and strategies. The session focused on how civil society organizations can identify and address community challenges, effectively present community voices, and use different advocacy platforms to influence positive change and ensure that development efforts respond to community needs.

The workshop also strengthened our understanding of how NGOs contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how their work can be effectively documented and aligned with Tanzania’s Development Vision 2050 (Dira 2050). The discussions emphasized the importance of connecting NGO interventions, advocacy efforts, and community needs with national and global development priorities, while ensuring that our work contributes meaningfully to sustainable and inclusive development.

Yesterday, our Project Lead, Mariam Mintanga Mariam , joined innovators, entrepreneurs, creatives and young builders at Sahara Sparks Startup School 2026 for a fireside conversation on creativity, artificial intelligence and turning ideas into impact, under the theme “Age of Abundance.”

She shared practical perspectives on how young people can use AI responsibly, combine technology with creativity and turn local challenges into opportunities to build solutions that matter.

At Tai, we believe technology is most powerful when it is rooted in people, purpose and real community needs.

Today, we visited WOYOTA to hand over Paza Sauti and Bonde comic books, posters, and a roll-up banner to support the continued implementation of the SAFE Program in schools.

A few months ago, we worked together across different schools to deliver important education through creative storytelling. Now, WOYOTA will continue that journey by using these resources to reach more students, spark conversations, and strengthen awareness in schools.

In this video, Teddy Nazery, General Secretary of WOYOTA Women and Youth Tanzania (WOYOTA) , shares her reflections on the handover and how these materials will help them continue spreading knowledge and creating meaningful impact among students.
