Spreading Kindness This Ramadhan

Today, our monthly Hunger Relief & Food Distribution activity was filled with warmth and generosity, thanks to the 11 dedicated members of our club who took part. Together, we made a meaningful impact at Child in the Sun Centre by donating essential food supplies to sustain them throughout the holy month of Ramadhan.

Our contribution included:
📌 360kg of beans
📌 480kg of rice
📌 90kg of yams
📌 50kg of sweet potatoes
📌 12kg of dagaa (small fish)
📌 225kg of maize flour
📌 8 trays (240 eggs)
📌 116 loaves of bread

In a touching moment, a young boy from the center offered heartfelt prayers, asking for prosperity and blessings upon our club and its members so we may continue serving those in need.

Spreading Smiles Through Service! 🍽️❤️

On 16th February 2025, Lions Club of DSM Mzizima conducted a Hunger Relief & Food Distribution activity at Child in the Sun Centre, bringing warmth and joy to 80 children, helpers, and teachers.

A delicious cooked lunch, water, chocolate cake, and soft drinks were served, and the happiness in the children's eyes was truly heartwarming.

Feeding Hearts, Spreading Smiles ❤️🍽️

Today, a successful food distribution activity was conducted at the Don Bosco Center in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. We were honored to serve 40 kids with freshly cooked food, water, and soda. 🌟

This heartwarming initiative was made possible with the dedication of 7 members from Mzizima, 1 member from Tanzanite, and 1 member from Infinity. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in our community, one meal at a time. 💙

🌍 Peace Without Limits - Peace Poster Contest 2024/25 🎨🕊

The Lions Club of Dar es Salaam Mzizima, in collaboration with Lions Club of Dar es Salaam Infinity, proudly hosted the Peace Poster Contest for the 2024/25 Lionistic year at Nafasi Art Space, Mikocheni. Thirty talented students from 10 primary schools across Dar es Salaam participated, creating beautiful artwork around the theme "Peace Without Limits."

We are excited to announce that the Prize Giving Ceremony will be held today, Saturday 5th October 2024, at 3:00 PM at the Russian Cultural Centre on Sea View Road. The event will be graced by our esteemed District Governor, Lion Habil Khanbhai. 🏅🎉

Join us to celebrate the creativity and vision of these young artists! 🎨✨ We request all members to attend and proudly wear their Lions jackets.

Let’s support the spirit of peace and unity together!

Fellow Lions.

Lions club of Dar es Salaam Mzizima jointly with Lions Club of Dar es Salaam Infinity organised a Peace Poster Contest with theme "Peace Without Limits" for the Lionistic year 2024/2025 on Saturday 14 Sep at Nafasi Art Space in Mikocheni Dar es Salaam.

30 participants from the ten primary schools in Dar es Salaam Acadrmic Intl primary school, Buza primary school, Mchangani primary school, Kanosa primary school, Miles stone primary school, Hopac Intl school, Anazak primary school, Blessed primary school, Kaanan primary school and Thaukad primary school participated in the contest.

The contest was attended by Lion Akila Khanbhai Dist Co.ordinator for Peace Poster Contest, Lion Nafisa Khanbhai,GST officer from our District 411C, President Lion Yusuf Dalal of Mzizima and President Priscilla Alwa from Infinity club and members from both clubs.

Judging will be held on Saturday 21st Sep at Nafasi Arts Space in Mikocheni, Dar es Salaam.

Winners will be awarded prizes and to all participants at the prize giving ceremony which will be held on Saturday 5th Oct' 24 at Russian Cultural Centre in Dar es Salaam.

🌟❤️ Another Month, Another Act of Kindness! ❤️🌟

Once again, the Lions Club of Mzizima has proudly served over 120 children at the Tulee Yatima Tanzania (TUYATA) center this month! 🥘🍪

This activity was made possible by the incredible efforts of 12 Mzizima members, 5 Infinity members, 1 Tanzanite member, 6 kids, and 1 prospective member. A special shoutout to Infinity for generously contributing bananas and biscuits to all the kids and caretakers. 🍌🍪

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our very own Lion Huzefa Sulemanji for his incredible pledge to contribute cooked food for the entire Lionistic Year, ending June 2025. Your commitment is truly inspiring! 🌟

Our ongoing dedication to these wonderful kids is a reminder that together, we can make a lasting impact in their lives. Thank you to all the Lions and supporters who continue to make this possible. Let’s keep spreading love and compassion, one meal at a time. 💙🙏
