Learning Made Simple, One Click at a Time!

This is what our Digital Learning Support project client dashboard looks like.

Across our supported schools, teachers and students are engaging with the Ubongo Digital Learning app. This is an interactive learning space designed to make learning easier, more engaging, and accessible. From lessons to activities, everything is just a click away.

As learners explore and teachers guide, the classroom transforms into a hub of discovery—where technology supports understanding, builds confidence, and makes learning enjoyable.

The Digital Learning Support initiative aims to reach 300 primary schools in both the mainland of Tanzania and Zanzibar by providing technical maintenance support, building EdTech awareness among teachers and students, and expanding access to engaging digital learning content.

We are strengthening e-learning in collaboration with TAMISEMI!

Today, we are honoured to host Engineer Joyce Baravuga, the TAMISEMI E-Learning Coordinator, for an insightful discussion on the growth and future of E-Learning in Tanzania.

Our discussion focused on three key areas: progress made in digital learning implementation, shared experiences/feedback from the field, and the challenges affecting the E-Learning sector. The discussion created a valuable platform for reflection, collaboration, and exploration of ways to strengthen technology-driven education in schools and communities.

Together, we continue shaping a more connected, innovative, and inclusive future for learning through technology.

Something exciting is taking shape in Sanya Juu, Siha District, Kilimanjaro!

Camara Education Tanzania has partnered with Ubora Tanzania on a new long-term project to build a future-ready learning environment, bringing technology, innovation, and hands-on science closer to students.

This initial phase focuses on installing ICT equipment and network infrastructure, laying the foundation for what is to come.

From designing the technology layout of their new STEM Leadership secondary school to sourcing high-quality ICT equipment such as high-end desktops, firewalls, servers, smartboards, and 3D printers, to installation and configuration. Each step reflects a shared commitment to delivering a modern, inclusive learning space.

Every item procured is part of a bigger vision—to equip young learners with the tools they need to engage in digital learning, strengthen their STEM skills, and unlock their full potential, regardless of their background.

We are building Capacity for Safety!

This Tuesday , a fire safety training was conducted in Mirerani, Simanjiro, facilitated by the District Fire and Rescue Commander, ASF Yusto Gabriel Mlay, and attended by a team of five MsingiTek-Simanjiro Field Officers.

The session covered both theoretical and practical aspects, including the causes of fire, suppression methods, and the proper use of firefighting equipment such as fire blankets, CO₂ extinguishers, and dry-chemical powder extinguishers.

Participants actively engaged in hands-on exercises, strengthening their skills and readiness to respond to fire incidents, and gained insights into promoting community awareness of fire prevention and safety.

Last week, the Shinyanga DC District Council team, led by the Deputy District Education Officer, Dr Mario Lugenge, alongside the ICT District Officer and the Statistics and Learning District Officer, conducted a monitoring visit to MsingiTek-supported schools in Shinyanga DC. The team visited Puni, Imesela, Bukumbi, Zobogo, Nyudi, and Buyubi Primary Schools.

The visit focused on observing both in-class and out-of-class implementation of the project, engaging with teachers and learners, and assessing how digital tools support early-grade literacy and numeracy.

These visits play a key role in strengthening collaboration with local government and ensuring the effective and sustainable delivery of the MsingiTek Project.

Today, Standard 3 pupils are having their sessions under the MsingiTek program at Didia Primary School, in the Shinyanga region.

Each week, every student has 150 minutes to engage with fun, adaptive lessons tailored to their individual learning pace, practising reading, writing, and arithmetic through hands-on exercises.

As the program progresses, classrooms are transformed into dynamic spaces of curiosity and creativity—where children actively explore, learn, and enjoy discovering new skills.

“AI for Development: Girls Shaping the Digital Future”

Happy International Girls in ICT Day from Mlimani Matemwe Secondary School!

Meet Kazija Haji Khatibu, a young changemaker who, through access to the Digital Learning Centre, has discovered her passion for ICT.

Now an active member of the school’s ICT Club, she is learning beyond the classroom, using computers to ask questions, strengthen her critical thinking skills, and build her path toward a future in technology.

This year’s theme highlights the vital role of girls in driving innovation, developing AI solutions, and closing the digital gender gap. With the right tools and support, girls are not only participating in the digital world, but they are shaping it!

Camara Education Tanzania we are creating spaces where every girl can explore her potential, think creatively, and embrace the endless opportunities that technology offers.

Today at Ildokroni Primary School in Kiteto, Manyara, after a community sensitisation meeting, parents happily hold and wave MsingiTek handouts in a group photo as a sign of acceptance and appreciation for the MsingiTek project.

Through community sensitisation, we’re engaging nearby communities to help parents, guardians, and local leaders understand the project and its impact on their children’s educational well-being, so they can actively play their role in ensuring the project's sustainability.
