Some kids were waiting for us. After our arrival, they went to call others. When inflating, the needle of the inflator broke. I sent a guy to purchase a needle from the nearest shop. It took time. The kids were sitting on the ground with patience. After inflating the balls, the kids snatched the balls on their own choice. Then started to play happily.

I would now like to humbly request 14 soccer balls for 25 vulnerable children aged 8–17 from the Kaloleni settlement, located in eastern Nairobi. Most local residents in this community are evening hawkers in Nairobi’s Central Business District, where their daily earnings are barely sufficient for basic needs and do not allow them to provide playing materials for their children. As a result, many children spend their free time scavenging in dustbins, exposing them to significant health risks.

Due to these challenges, the local residents, under the leadership of Victor Nyongesa, have approached me seeking support in providing soccer balls for the children that will help keep children active, safe, and healthy.
