At OCODE, we’re committed to empowering young people to shape their own futures. Through the Bonga (Back-to-School) project, our goal is to support 700 out-of-school adolescents in and by 2027, giving them a second chance at education.

OCODE tunaamini katika kuwawezesha vijana kujenga maisha yao ya baadaye. Kupitia mradi wa Bonga (Back-to-School), tunalenga kuwasaidia vijana 700 waliokosa fursa ya elimu ifikapo mwaka 2027, katika wilaya ya Bagamoyo na Manispaa ya Kinondoni. Jiunge nasi katika safari hii ya kuleta mabadiliko chanya kwenye jamii zetu.

Jana tulianza mafunzo kwa walimu wakuu, wasaidizi, walimu wa madarasa ya awali, na darasa la kwanza kutoka shule tatu za (Mbweni, Kawe, na Mtongani).

Lengo la mafunzo haya ni kuongeza uelewa wa walimu wetu juu ya elimu bora jumuishi ili kuwawezesha kuwasaidia watoto wetu wakati wa kujifunza. Mafunzo haya yataendelea katika wilaya ya , yakianza kesho, Jumatano tarehe 2 Oktoba.

Yesterday, we kicked off training for head teachers, assistants, pre-primary teachers, and grade one teachers from three schools in (Mbweni, Kawe, and Mtongani).

The aim of the training is to increase our teachers’ understanding of quality inclusive education, enabling them to better support our children in the learning process.

The next phase of 2 days training will take place in Bagamoyo, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, October 2.

Leo tumekutana na maafisa kutoka idara mbalimbali katika ngazi ya Manispaa na kata , tukijadili maeneo muhimu ambayo OCODE imeyachagua kwa utekelezaji wa miradi yake kwa miaka 5 ijayo. Tumeainisha kwa kina shughuli za mwaka 2024 pamoja na gharama za utekelezaji wake. Ushirikiano wetu ni msingi wa kuhakikisha mafanikio endelevu na ustawi wa jamii zetu.

Today, we met with officials from various departments at the Municipal and Ward levels within to discuss the key areas OCODE has identified for project implementation over the next 5 years. We also outlined the activities and costs for 2024. This collaboration is vital for ensuring sustainable success and the well-being of our communities.

This event focused on understanding, integrating, and assessing essential life skills and values in Tanzania’s revised curriculum. Join us on this journey of nurturing the next generation!

Today, OCODE, in partnership with the Bagamoyo District Council, embarks on an exciting four-day journey to gather preliminary information from ward offices, and primary and secondary schools. This dynamic mission aims to pinpoint key areas for transformative interventions in selected wards of Bagamoyo District, paving the way for meaningful and lasting positive change in our communities.
