Under the courtesy of the Kili Challenge Project supported by Geita Gold Mine through , NYP+ successfully conducted a peer educators’ training in Njombe DC.The training equipped young peer educators with essential life, leadership, livelihood, and entrepreneurship skills to empower youth, strengthen community support groups, promote positive life choices, and enhance economic self-reliance among young people, including those living with HIV.

Together, we are building empowered, informed, and resilient youth communities for a brighter future.

Moja kati ya malengo ya ni kuhakikisha kila mtu anapata elimu sahihi kuhusu namna ya kujikinga na maambukizi ya VVU pamoja na kuongeza uelewa wa jumla kuhusu VVU na UKIMWI.

Leo tumepata fursa ya kuwa kupitia kipindi cha The Camp, ambapo tumezungumza na vijana (Gen Z) kuhusu uelewa wao juu ya VVU/UKIMWI pamoja na umuhimu wa kutokomeza unyanyapaa katika jamii.

in collaboration with and with support from UNAIDS, conducted an orientation for Adolescents and Young People (AYP) across three Councils of Kasulu TC, Kasulu DC, and Uvinza DC.
The orientation aimed to equip AYP data collectors with ethical, effective, and high-quality approaches for community-led monitoring (CLM) and project implementation. As part of the exercise, participants also received working tools that includes tablets to enhance efficient, timely, and reliable data collection within their communities. This initiative strengthens community support structures and promotes sustained access to HIV, SHR, and GBV services for Adolescents and Young People in Kigoma Region.

💊 Takriban 46% ya watu wanaoishi na VVU (PLHIV) wanakumbana na unyanyapaa au ubaguzi katika jamii
lakini pia Takwimu zinaonyesha kuwa asilimia 90+ ya wanaoishi na VVU wanaotumia ARV vizuri huishi maisha ya kawaida na hawaambukizi wenzao (U=U).
Hivyo ni jukumu letu sote kuelimishana kuwa inaweezekana mtu kuishi na Maambukizi na asimwambukize mwingine k**a atafuata masharti mazuri ya dawa na na kwapamoja tutaondoa UNYANYAPAA 💪🏻
