FEAR OF EL NIÑO RAINS AHEAD OF CSEE 2026 EXAMS: KALAMU EDUCATION FOUNDATION (KEF) BOOSTS ACADEMIC CAMPS IN MAFIA DISTRICT

Kalamu Education Foundation (KEF) has once again reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to uplifting the education sector in Mafia District, by providing support in the form of learning materials and food supplies for Special Academic Camps preparing students for the National Examinations.

This support comes at a time when academic schedules have been disrupted due to growing fears of EL NIÑO RAINS, expected to start from October.

In this season of preparations for the 2026 National Examinations, KEF has provided food support to facilitate the running of these camps.

The support was officially handed over and received in the presence of the District Commissioner of Mafia, Hon. Aziza Mangosongo, accompanied by the District Defence and Security Committee and other Council leaders.

The food assistance provided includes:
- Rice
- Maize Flour
- Beans
- Sugar
- Cooking Oil

The aim of this support is to enable students to remain in the camps throughout the entire preparation period without facing food challenges, and thus utilize their time effectively for self-study and revision.

KEF Kibiti Team Continues Special Mobilization Camps for Standard 7 Students.

They are expected to sit for their final exams on September 9th and 10th

Our KEF teams are in various villages of Kibiti District Council continuing with mobilization efforts.

These efforts have had great benefits for students who had started to lose hope or were being told “you won’t pass” due to fear about their families’ ability to afford their education.

Yesterday and Today we managed to visit the following Primary Schools:
1. Kivinja A and B
2. Mjawa
3. Jaribu Mpakani
4. Tomoni

The Team is continuing ward by ward until we reach all 16 wards of Kibiti.

May Almighty put *baraka* in KEF Kibiti Team’s footsteps and make every student they visit pass with high marks.

Ameen
