Mohamedi Msophe Foundation Mohamedi Msophe Foundation's a charity organization that works to improve the health and well-being of the people who are living in poverty across Tanzania

The Mohamedi Msophe Foundation is a charity organization that works to improve the health and well-being of the people who are living in poverty across Tanzania, through the use of innovative, effective, measurable programs with equitable resources. The main objectives of the Foundation are empowering people – with special focus to the disabled, promoting cultural diversity, protecting environment

and encouraging volunteerism. Mohamedi Msophe Foundation (MMF) was founded by Kipunguni Ward Councillor, Mohamedi Msophe in December 2015 as a response to the national crisis facing poverty and education. Inspired by his Kipunguni ward people and encouraged by many others, Msophe first established a network of local volunteers in 2014 to foster development in Kipunguni by engaging the youths in social works for road construction and environmental cleaning activities to curb the cholera outbreak. The primary aim was to educate and involve the local community members in order to eliminate poverty resulting in raising global citizens. Realizing that there is something wrong with the society we live in, he committed himself to eliminate poverty. MMF is a message of hope. MMF’s plans are to: empower the disabled in our society; provide a roof to the orphans and impoverished children of our society; empower women and youths to foster economic development and eradicate poverty and to promote awareness on health and environmental matters including global warming. This is a fundamental rethink on the economic relationship between the rich and the poor as well as the rights and the obligations of the marginalized classes in the society such as people with disabilities and orphans. MMF believes that changing the community begins with oneself. The change making initiatives require intensive work by; MMF’s local staff, dedicated volunteers, community members, teachers, and committed donors. It is an appeal for action: we must concentrate on promoting the will to survive and the courage to build the first and most essential element of human rights. WHAT WE DO
