When innovators, researchers, investors, and policymakers come together, transformative ideas become possible.

We were honored to participate in the official launch of Grand Challenges Tanzania in Dodoma, both as part of the Secretariat and as a contributor to Tanzania’s growing innovation ecosystem.

The event brought together researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, development partners, investors, and ecosystem builders to explore how locally driven innovation can help solve some of Tanzania’s most pressing challenges.

A highlight of the day was the panel discussion on strengthening local investment ecosystems and expanding support for innovation and startups, where our Director Dr. Lwidiko Mhamilawa had the opportunity to contribute to the conversation alongside other distinguished leaders.

We were also honored by the presence of the Guest of Honour, Hon. Wanu Hafidh Ameir, Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Technology, who emphasized the importance of investing in research, innovation, and local talent to drive Tanzania’s future development.

At ProjeKt Inspire, we remain committed to creating pathways that empower young innovators, entrepreneurs, and researchers to turn ideas into impact.

Together, we can build a stronger innovation ecosystem for Tanzania.

In case you missed it — here’s a little recap of our time at Bongo Fail Fest! Our Director took the stage to share his story; proof that the road to success is paved with lessons, not perfection.

Seeing young people soak it all in and experience the world of STEM firsthand? Absolutely priceless.

Numbers that actually mean something.

Our Mathematics Class didn’t solve textbook problems. They analyzed real data from their own experiments to answer real questions How strong is this seaweed? How much does it cost to produce? Is it scalable?

From material ratios and graphs to cost analysis and feasibility calculations these students used mathematics as a tool for innovation and decision-making.
