Every Saturday, our Junior Class explorers will play with magnets, circuits, liquids, light and chemical reactions through safe, hands-on experiments made for tiny hands and big curiosity.

Seaweed Farm Visit!

K**a sehemu ya STEM Youth Bootcamp (SYBC) 2026 yenye Theme “Unlocking the Blue Economy Value Chain Through Seaweed Innovation,” wanafunzi wa darasa la Sayansi walitembelea Shamba la Mwani kwa ajili ya mafunzo ya vitendo.

Wamejifunza historia ya mwani na aina zake mbalimbali, pamoja na namna ya kuotesha mwani — wengi wao walipata fursa ya kuotesha wenyewe!

As part of the STEM Youth Bootcamp (SYBC) 2026, themed “Unlocking the Blue Economy Value Chain Through Seaweed Innovation,” students visited a Seaweed Farm for a hands-on Science class field trip. They learned the history of seaweed and its different types, plus how it’s cultivated and many got to plant seaweed themselves!

This Bootcamp runs under the VIJANA Bunifu project by OurTanga funded by Fondation Botnar

Our Standard 7 Graduates kicked off the Technology Class Programme yesterday , starting with Computer Orientation, Safety & Hardware — getting hands-on with the tools before diving into typing, documents, spreadsheets, algorithms, and flowcharts over the days ahead.
