Yesterday we had an incredible opportunity to visit Islamic High School, Mr. Rajabu Araka James from IBET was accompanied by journalist Ms. Elodie from France , Together they explored how our Career Guidance and Counselling programs are transforming students’ lives.

Career guidance and counseling is at the center of our interventions as an organisation and we thank the Teachers and students who shared inspiring stories of growth, confidence, and direction.

The visit strengthened our partnership with the school and opened new opportunities for continued counselling support. We’re proud to see our mission nurturing students’ emotional well-being, motivation, and career development
making a real impact!

As we are still celebrating the girl child. 💛

It reminds us that girls don’t just need protection they need power. They deserve safe spaces to dream, lead, and take up space without fear or apology.

Let’s be the kind of community that listens to girls, believes in them, and stands beside them as they become the women they’re meant to be.
Because when a girl rises, so does everyone around her.

Pili, mwanafunzi hupenda kupewa moyo.

Did you know ?? Only 35% of children in Tanzania are enrolled in pre-primary education, according to The Guardian Tanzania (2024). For those who do attend, classrooms can be overcrowded some with over 140 pupils per teacher, far beyond the recommended 1:25 ratio.

This matters because the early years are critical for a child’s brain development, language, and social skills. Without strong foundations, many children struggle when they enter Standard I, leading to learning gaps, dropouts, and limited future opportunities.

Low enrollment is caused by shortages of teachers, poor infrastructure, hidden costs, and perceptions that pre-primary is “optional.” But missing this stage reinforces inequality: children from poor or rural families are the ones most left behind.

This is the reminder that as community stakeholders we all have an opportunity to keep Investing in pre-primary education means investing in Tanzania’s future.

Every child deserves a strong start. What do you think needs to change to make this possible?leave your comment down below !!

Hiiiiii ! This is the special Post for Parents, guardians, aunties, uncles wenye watoto waliomaliza elimu ya msingi (STD 7) Hongereni sana!

Our children have worked hard and made us proud. As they wait to step into secondary school, this long holiday is more than free time let’s use this season for growth and bonding. We have the following tips that you can use to support your child during this long holiday …walk with me

1. Keep Them Reading i feel like many african households struggles a lot with reading as a parent this is one of the best hobby to instill to your child it starts with simple daily reading just to sharpens their memory, boosts imagination, and keeps them ready for Form One.

2.Giving them duties , chores & responsibility this holiday engage your child in cooking, cleaning, or helping siblings. These tasks are lessons in discipline, independence, and respect for work.

3. Encourage Creativity to support hobbies it could be anything really such activities build confidence, nurture hidden talents, and give children healthy outlets to express themselves.

4.Community Learning, during this period connect them to positive groups church/mosque programs, youth clubs, or volunteering. These spaces teach teamwork, leadership, and reduce idle time that may lead to negative influences having open conversation with them about adolescence, peer pressure, and dreams for the future.

Your guidance gives them confidence and resilience far beyond what friends or media can. In general make sure you’re involved in your child’s life and this moment becomes a bonding season for both parties …All the best let the best season begin.

In many communities, reporting remains a struggle, and this habit starts early. As children, we often kept things to ourselves until parents pushed us to confess, sometimes through punishment.

This silence grows with us, making it hard to share even positive experiences. When it comes to sensitive issues like sexual harassment, abuse, or exploitation, the weight of silence becomes even heavier. Many women go through these painful realities without speaking up, and in turn, society begins to normalize such acts. This silence also fuels depression and hidden suffering. But healing begins with speaking out.

Reporting doesn’t always mean going straight to authorities it can start with confiding in a trusted friend, family member, or mentor. Your voice has power, and sharing your truth is a step toward freedom and change. Don’t hold back out of fear or shame seek help today, because you deserve to heal and be heard.

If you're a student then this is For you....If there is something important to realize in our world today, it’s that education does not end at graduation in fact, that’s where it truly begins. Lifelong learning offers countless lessons, whether in knowledge or skills, that help you adapt to our ever-changing world. Technology, careers, and global challenges evolve daily. What is relevant today may be outdated tomorrow.

Even while in school, it’s important to seek learning opportunities beyond the classroom through online courses, mentorship, volunteering, or joining professional networks. These experiences build practical skills such as leadership, problem-solving, and creativity, which are just as important as academic knowledge.

At some point, you will also need mentors who can guide you, help you identify the right opportunities, and support you in choosing clear paths forward. So, embrace lifelong learning, take every lesson life teaches you seriously, and strive to make the very best out of it.

Hello there !! It's Friday Yaaay !!! Aya let's be serious and Talk .For anyone reading this This week might have been tough maybe nothing went as planned, maybe you’re running on empty, or maybe you just had to push through more than you thought you could. But here’s the thing you made it to the (pre)weekend. And that’s worth a moment of gratitude.

Use this time to fill your cup in ways that make you feel alive again. Sleep in without guilt. Eat that meal you’ve been craving. Take a slow walk. Watch something that makes you laugh. Call a friend who warms your heart. Sit outside and just breathe.

The world can wait just know you deserve this pause. Monday will come, but right now, you have a chance to reset, refresh, and remember that even small moments of joy can change everything.

So here’s to a weekend that feels like a deep exhale. You’ve earned it.
