At the PreIWD 2026 panel discussions, shared powerful insights on the role private companies play within information access, market visibility, and opportunity across the extractive sector.

The discussion explored how information asymmetries, market access, and recognition continue to shape participation within the value chain, while also highlighting the importance of auditing systems, decision-making spaces, and access to industry knowledge.

The conversation also challenged companies to look beyond “support” and instead examine how access, visibility, and information influence who participates, who benefits, and who captures value within the sector.

PreIWD 2026 brought together voices, stories, and moments that will stay with us long after the day ended. It was a reminder of the power of community and the importance of creating spaces that truly uplift women.

We are proud to share Her Tomorrow 2026, featuring Rosa Loopelei from Mundarara Village in Longido District, Arusha.

Rosa is a woman whose story reflects the realities experienced by many women living within and around extractive communities. Through the Her Tomorrow Program, we explore the importance of creating opportunities, access, and long-term support for women whose potential often goes unseen despite their strength, resilience, and contribution to their communities.

At 2026, Rosa received the inaugural 2026 Her Tomorrow donations and support to assist her journey forward, representing the wider mission of investing in women through practical impact and empowerment.
