It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we mourn the untimely passing of our beloved colleague, who tragically lost his life in a car accident.

Amani, served as Program Officer for the Pathway to Prosperity-Coffee Project in Mbeya, Songwe, and Ruvuma.
Amani was more than a colleague, he was a passionate champion of community empowerment. Through his dedication, he established and strengthened Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) among smallholder coffee farmers, many of which have grown into thriving small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), transforming countless lives.
His commitment, humility, and service will never be forgotten. His legacy will continue to live on in the communities he empowered and the lives he touched.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and everyone grieving this tremendous loss.

Rest in eternal peace, Amani. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. 🕊️💚

We are committed to building inclusive and equitable mining communities.

Phase One of the EA$E, EMAP, and Gender Equality Training is officially underway, bringing together 16 participants from 8 women’s groups operating within gold production systems.

Each group is represented by one woman and one man, fostering joint learning, shared accountability, and gender-transformative change at both household and community levels.

The training focuses on strengthening leadership, challenging harmful gender norms, promoting gender equality, and enhancing the meaningful participation of women and youth in mining-related economic activities.

By empowering both women and men as agents of change, we are creating pathways toward more inclusive, equitable, and accountable mining communities.
