Happy Farmers Day! 🌾🌱
Today we celebrate the hands that feed the nation. Growing food is more than agriculture—it is the foundation of good health. Nutritious, locally grown foods help prevent disease, strengthen communities, and ensure a healthier future for all.
Let’s support our farmers and invest in sustainable food systems for better health.

Today, Tanzania Better Health (TBH), in collaboration with Spacerpad , hosted a powerful and inspiring webinar on “Restoring Period Dignity with Spacerpads.”
The discussion reminded us that menstruation should never be a barrier to education, opportunity, health, or self-confidence. Period dignity means ensuring that everyone has access to safe, sustainable menstrual products, accurate information, and the freedom to manage their period with confidence, comfort, and dignity.
We were honoured to learn from Karin Högberg, Founder & CEO of Spacerpad, and Maja Högberg, Operations Manager at Spacerpad, whose expertise and commitment to sustainable menstrual health inspired meaningful conversations and practical solutions for creating lasting impact.
A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us, shared their perspectives, and demonstrated that together we can break stigma, promote menstrual health, and build communities where no one is held back because of their period.
💙 The journey toward period dignity begins with awareness, grows through education, and succeeds through collective action. Let’s continue the conversation and work together to ensure that every girl and woman can manage her period with confidence and dignity.

🎭 BEHIND THE MASK: Mental Health Stories Men Rarely Tell

A conversation that needs to happen. Now.
For too long, society has demanded that men be unshakable—strong, stoic, silent. But the cost has been devastating: rising deaths, trauma, and morbidity among men who were never given permission to be human.

Today, June 16th | 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM (EAT) We’re pulling back the curtain.

Join us for an honest, powerful, and deeply needed conversation with prominent men from our community who are stepping forward to share what it truly means to be a man—the daily battles, the unspoken weight, and the path forward.
🎤 Moderated by our dedicated volunteer, Dr. Luangisa GraciousDr

This isn’t just a discussion. It’s a lifeline.

Come listen. Come learn. Come speak.
Because strength isn’t silence. Strength is showing up.
