The Gender and Climate Change Tanzania Coalition (GCCTC), as part of the Secretariat, was honored to participate in the Post–COP 30 Multi-Stakeholder Forum held on 16–18 February 2026 at Aura Suites. The forum convened government representatives, civil society organizations, youth leaders, development partners, and the private sector to reflect on COP 30 outcomes and advance the localization of global climate commitments within Tanzania’s development context.

The discussions emphasized inclusive climate governance, accountability, access to climate finance, and the meaningful participation of women, youth, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized groups. Strong calls were made to move from policy dialogue to coordinated implementation aligned with Tanzania Development Vision 2050 and national climate priorities.

GCCTC extends sincere appreciation to Women in Climate Tanzania, Climate Action Network Tanzania, and the Embassy of Ireland in Tanzania, among other partners, for convening and supporting this important platform. Such collaboration remains critical in strengthening inclusive, gender-responsive, and youth-driven climate action toward COP 31 and beyond.tanzania .tz Tanzania
