Burundi is taking important steps to strengthen its social protection system.

Through ILO-supported capacity-building, national stakeholders are deepening their understanding of Convention No. 102, the international standard that sets minimum levels of social security across key areas such as health, pensions, and income security.

This effort contributes to building more inclusive, resilient systems that protect people throughout their lives.

🔹 Creating sustainable systems that work for all

This isn’t just talk – it's about creating real solutions for a fairer, more inclusive future where no one is left behind.
