Our Space Shooter Game-Dev Module Takes Center Stage in Bangladesh's Hour Of Code Event!
We are thrilled to announce that our Space Shooter Game-Dev project was selected as one of the primary coding activities in Bangladesh's recent national Hour of Code event. Out of hundreds of other learning providers, our module stood out and engaged 4600 students, who successfully completed the game within just one week.
The project based on JavaScript, takes students on an exciting journey into the world of coding and game development. Throughout the training, students engage in hands-on activities such as building their starship, coding the controls to pilot it, deploying defences like lasers, and strategising against incoming asteroids. They also learn about the importance of upgrades, such as the Plasma Cannon upgrade, to enhance their gameplay and coding skills. With these interactive and immersive lessons, students not only have fun but also develop valuable coding skills that can prepare them for future endeavours in technology and innovation.
This achievement not only reflects the quality and impact of our coding curriculum but also highlights the growing interest and enthusiasm for coding among students in Bangladesh. We are excited to see such high levels of engagement and are looking forward to more partnerships and opportunities to inspire and educate through innovative coding program.
