Kinda Education Support

Every yellow jerrycan and bucket carries more than just dirty water. It carries a girl’s future, heavy and exhausting, miles away from the classroom.

At Kinda Education Support (KESU), we believe a girl’s place is in the classroom, writing her own story not walking for hours under a hot sun.

Every single kilometer walked to fetch water is a classroom minute stolen.

Every drop of unsafe water is a threat to her health and her dignity.

We are changing this narrative in rural and hard to reach primary schools. By building sustainable rainwater harvesting tanks and installing advanced solar powered water filters, we are bringing clean, safe water straight to their fingertips.

When you partner with us, your kindness is entirely directed to the ground. 100% of your donation goes straight into school infrastructure, turning local schools into safe, healthy sanctuaries where girls can focus on learning, dreaming, and growing.

14 down. 2 to go!

When we set out to build 16 classrooms across Kagera, we weren't just pouring concrete and raising walls, We were building the places where a child first raises their hand, first reads a whole sentence out loud, first believes they could be a teacher, a doctor, an engineer.

Today, 14 of those classrooms are standing. Full of desks, electricity, and kids who no longer have to squeeze six to a bench.

We're not there yet. 2 classrooms left, and we're not slowing down until every last one is finished.

Because a child's right to learn shouldn't depend on how many walls their school has left to build.

Thank you to everyone our partners, our donors, and the Kagera community who carried this with us.

What once seemed possible only in Secondary and High school classrooms is now a reality for children in Primary School.

"I used to think classrooms like these belonged only in high schools. Today, I see them in my own school. KESU has completely changed how we experience learning.

I love coming to school. With tiled floors, glass windows, electricity, proper desks, and a safe, comfortable learning environment, learning has become more effective and I feel motivated to learn." Said student in one of our project school.

At KESU, we believe every child deserves a learning environment that inspires hope, dignity, and a love for education. Because when we invest in better classrooms, we invest in brighter futures.

At KESU, we construct rainwater harvesting tanks and install water filters in primary schools to ensure reliable access to clean and safe drinking water.

This intervention reduces time spent fetching water, improves attendance, and enhances learning outcomes especially for girls.

Despite implementation challenges, our commitment to equitable water access in schools remains unwavering.

With your support, we continue to deliver measurable impact through efficient, community driven solutions.

Thank you for enabling us to create healthier, more productive learning environments for Children in Kagera.

Did you know?

Fetching Water with Jerycans it would take 10 children for 100 litres.

Fetching 100 litres required 10 pupils to labour for an hour with heavy jerycans.

Now as we have  water, I handle it alone in just 15 minutes, restoring more time for children to learn. Said school cook at Mwijage Primary School.

Today, after the KESU intervention, that reality has changed.

Children now have access to clean and safe water right at school. What was once a daily burden has been replaced with dignity, health, and a better chance to learn and thrive.

It is because of your generosity support, we have made it possible.

Teachers at Mwijage are now comfortable, dignity restored and spending their time without worrying about sanitation.

With people like you, Renate, Robert Ruth Stiftüng we can achieve more.

For these girls in Mwijage Primary School, Descent toilets aren't just a convenience, It is life changing!

Before the collaboration with IGF children had no proper toilets that made children chick, girls miss school during their menstruation periods every month and affected their growth, school attendance and daily life.

Now, children have enough toilet stalls with special rooms for menstruation management and the incinerator helping children stay healthy and giving the whole school a peace of mind.
