The Easter break has begun—but not every student knows if they can return next term.

For many families in Bagamoyo, even $700 for tuition is out of reach.
Last year, Tanzania Education Fund helped 80 students stay in school.

This year, you can help:
🎓 Sponsor a student for a full year
📚 Or support books for less than $70

Every contribution makes a difference.

Would you consider helping one student return after Easter?

🌟 Meet Tamalela Alex Masha — and prepare to be inspired.

When Tamalela was just 8 years old, her father tried to pull her out of school for good.

In their community, girls were expected to tend the cows — not sit in a classroom.

But thanks to her mother’s determination and a government order, she stayed in school.

When she was selected for a TEF scholarship to attend Margery Wolf Kuhn Secondary School in Bagamoyo — everything changed.

Tamalela became Head Prefect. Class President.

She graduated among the top students in Tanzania.

Then she set her sights on medicine.

Inspired by a near-death experience from a misdiagnosed appendicitis, she enrolled in a clinical medicine program.

Of 130 students who started — only 45 finished. Tamalela graduated 2nd in her class. 🎓

Today she is a Clinical Officer at Charles Wolf Sloan Medical Health Centre, right behind the school that changed her life.

“CWS Medical Health Centre is not just a place where patients come for treatment — it is a place where hope, care, and compassion are provided every day.” — Tamalela

Her father, who once tried to end her education, is now her biggest supporter. He sold cows from his herd to help pay for her college.

This is what YOUR support makes possible. 💛
For just $700, you can sponsor a student at MWK Schools for a full year — in your honor.
