Yesterday, May 21, 2026, *Tanzania Naioth Eagle Foundation (TANEFO)* participated in a Compliance Training in Arusha at Alliance Building. The training provided valuable lessons on proper NGO reporting, accurate financial reporting with EFD receipts, and maintaining transparency with partners and donors.

*TANEFO POULTRY PROJECT UPDATE*

We are happy to announce that on 15/05/2026, TANEFO successfully launched its poultry project after completing preparations on 14/05/2026.
Although our initial target was 200 day-old chicks, due to limited donations and funds, we managed to start with 100 chicks. Through the support received, we purchased chicks, vaccines, feeding and drinking equipment, electricity installation with a 200-watt heating bulb, and 150 kg of feed.
We sincerely thank everyone who has supported this project so far.
We kindly continue requesting more donations and financial support because we still have 5 months ahead to care for the chicks before they start laying eggs and the project becomes self-sustainable.

*TANEFO Organization Update – Women’s Poultry Project*

TANEFO Organization is happy to welcome *Goodness Yohana,* the TANEFO Intern Administrator, working closely behind me. Together we reviewed the *TANEFO poultry project for women's* and the community and developed a new plan to make it more sustainable.
We plan to start with *100 day-old chicks (not old chickens* ). After 5–6 months, the chickens will start laying eggs, which will help the project grow and sustain itself.
The total cost for 100 day-old chicks, vaccines, medicine, and feed is:
2,500,000 Tanzanian Shillings (TSH)
About $980 USD
About €900 EUR
