🌊 What a success!
Despite some difficult beginnings, such as when one of the leaders told us that just saying the word ‘menstruation’ in front of him was an insult. Or when a teacher told us that the girls sometimes came to boarding school for 3 months with only €2 pocket money and no menstrual protection.... we realised that there was a long way to go.
And it seems that our message is starting to get through. We received these photos of our ambassadors who held a meeting in the village to talk about menstruation.
Menstruation isn't just a girls' issue... it's our whole mentality that needs to change, and we all need to get together to do that.
