The 1st Africa Social Security Summit is back on the calendar and will take place on 29 to 30 October 2026 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. 🇪🇹🌍

This is more than just another summit. It is a defining gathering for Africa's social security sector, bringing together leaders, policymakers, and development partners from across the continent to shape the future of social protection and infrastructure financing in Africa.

🌟 A key feature of this year's Summit will be high-level engagement on the ASSA Infrastructure Fund for Africa, an innovative initiative aimed at mobilizing long-term pension capital to support strategic infrastructure investment and sustainable economic development across the continent.

The Africa Social Security Association (ASSA) wishes to inform all participants that the 1st Africa Social Security Summit has been postponed.

This decision has been made in light of the evolving public health situation in parts of Central Africa and reflects our priority to safeguard the health and safety of all delegates, partners, and stakeholders.

✨ The Summit is postponed, not cancelled.
